Well, On my trip to Vancouver a couple weeks back, I was finally able to get my hands on the latest offering from Iced Earth called The Glorius Berdon, and so far so good! It's still vintage Iced Earth! People have been ragging on the album all this time because it didn't have Matt Barlow's vocals on it. But anyway, the album has been out for a couple months now, so check it out!

Just as an adendum to the last message, I did notice on the song atilla, there were some growling parts on there that did sond like Matt Barlow was doing them, I don't know if it's just me, but it does sound like him!

I think it is him, it definitely has to be. I got the album a couple weeks ago. I've been trying to rip it to the computer but my damn ripper's so slow, so I haven't really had that much of a good listen to it. Kate

Wile Tim Owens does a nice job on the album, I personally think it would have been much sweeter with Barlow's vocals on it. They could have easily did what Falconer did for their latest album Septor Of Deception where they had their new vocalist, and appearances from Mathius Blad. Well, they could have done the same on the Glorius Burden, have tim Owens doing the bulk of the vocals, but have a bunch of apperances with Matt Barlow!

Just as a sidenote I did hear a sample of ripper doing one of the old tracks, his take on Burning Times, it wasn't all too bad, but it just made me miss Barlow even more.
